palin1FERRY COUNTY — It’s not the Republican National Convention, but it’s Republic, nonetheless.

Former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has accepted an invitation to speak at the 2013 Republic High School graduation on June 1 in Ferry County.

Palin will speak to 27 graduating seniors, their families and others in the typically small-town event.  According to a statement released by the school, Palin agreed to serve as the commencement speaker after an extensive campaign was waged by Senior Class President Tyler Weyer.

Weyer and other interested students wrote letters, emails, tweets and

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) ripped President Barack Obama Thursday over what she called a “scandalous hat trick.”

“This scandalous hat trick is on your watch. It is not believable that you knew nothing about Obama administration actions in dealing with these scandals,” Palin wrote, referring to the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservative groups in the lead-up to the 2012 election, the Department of Justice secretly obtaining AP phone records and the controversy over the White House’s Benghazi talking points.

Palin said Obama’s “team is out of control,” specifically targeting Attorney General Eric Holder and

Yesterday we reported on Umbrella-gate, in which Republicans have created another drama instead of focusing on the economy, environment, sequestration, our troops, Syria and lest we forget, the all important birth certificate. Ah, but that was soo last year.

Sarah Palin piled it in an attempt to ridicule the President (and because she’s not  in the White House) over using an umbrella. And worse, a Marine held the umbrella for him. What next Obummer?

Here’s the half-term Governor of Alaska’s tweet:

Scandalous Hat Trick

Mr. President, when it rains it pours, but most Americans hold their own umbrellas. Today in the Rose Garden you dismissed the idea of a Special Counsel to investigate the IRS scandal. With that, your galling political hubris shined bright in the midst of today’s dark clouds.

Mr. President, how can we trust your Justice Department to conduct an independent investigation when there is a systemic violation of the Hatch Act throughout your administration?

Surely you are aware that the Hatch Act prevents certain federal employees from engaging in political activity. Specifically, it’s illegal for these federal employees to engage

Now how many big name politicians would give a commencement address to such a small graduating class? I don’t think very many, which to me says something unique about Sarah Palin:

Sarah Palin

NEWSMAX – Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will give the high school commencement address in the small Washington state town of Republic on June 1.

The former Alaska governor will be addressing a class of 27 seniors at the school in northeastern Washington.

The Spokesman-Review reports the seniors launched an aggressive social media campaign last fall to land Palin as

Republic High School seniors pose for a photo asking former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin to speak at their graduation on June 1. Palin has agreed.

Tyler Weyer and his fellow seniors at Republic High School began considering possible commencement speakers last fall.

Confronting them was the reality that the most likely speaker would be a popular teacher or a standout community member. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

But Weyer had a crazy thought. “I said, ‘Hey, let’s just get Sarah Palin,’ ” said

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is set to deliver the commencement address at a Washington state high school.

The one-time Republican vice presidential hopeful will speak to Republic High School’s class of 2013 — made up of just 27 students — on June 1, according to the AP.

Tyler Weyer, one of the graduating seniors, started a social media campaign last fall to convince Palin to speak at the school’s graduation.

“I said, ‘Hey, let’s just get Sarah Palin,’ ” Weyer told the Spokesman-Review, noting that Republic’s commencement speaker is typically a standout teacher or

Reality show producer Mark Burnett, the man behind Survivor, Donald Trump‘s The Apprentice and recent hit-miniseries The Bible wants to make Sarah Palin the “next Oprah.” Conservative website Newsmax broke the news last night that Burnett had offered Palin her own syndicated daytime talk show, and sadly, Palin said no.

According to “people familiar with the deal,” the “sticking points have been over location and money.” Newsmax reports:

Burnett has insisted that Palin do the show from either New York or Los Angeles, which would require her to move for a

Holy mountains of icky crap. According to  a poll on the Republican primary ticket for Senate in Alaska, Sarah Palin would win, even though the half-term Governor is not well liked even there, and who can blame them after she quit halfway into her term.

The Mudflast reports:

In fact she’s less liked than Congress by poll respondents in the state of Alaska. (link) Of the over 1300 people polled 45% were Republican, and 36% Democrat.

No wonder she spends most of her time in Arizona now.

The poll in question though says that

Do you think the former Governor would want it? Read below:

“…The poll found that, among likely Republican primary voters in the state, Mrs. Palin would take 32 percent of the vote. Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell is right on her heels with 30 percent, while former Senate candidate and tea party favorite Joe Miller comes in third with 24 percent the vote….”

Sarah Palin would have a narrow edge in the GOP primary to challenge Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska) in 2014, according to a poll whose sponsors hope to draft her for the race.

Palin would take 32 percent of the primary vote, followed closely by Alaska Lt. Gov. Mead Treadwell at 30 percent, according to the Republican firm Harper Polling. Joe Miller, the Tea Party-backed Republican nominee in 2010, would take 24 percent.

The survey was conducted for the Tea Party Leadership Fund, which hopes to see Palin declare her candidacy in the Senate race. In April, the group Article source: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/13/sarah-palin-poll_n_3266921.html

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin blasted President Barack Obama and the federal government on her Facebook page on Friday over the acknowledgement by the Internal Revenue Service that they had intentionally singled out conservative groups for added scrutiny during the 2012 election cycle. “I’m sure President Obama is grateful for all the help the IRS gave his reelection campaign, but, still, you have to wonder how the bureaucrats who tried to pull this off can sleep at night,” Palin wrote.

The latest example comes courtesy of Sarah Palin’s wardrobe at the NRA convention in Houston on Friday. Palin addressed the crowd wearing a t-shirt manufactured by UnderArmour proclaiming, “Women Hunt” in pink lettering.

If you’re looking to emulate Sarah, you can get your very own “Women Hunt” shirt at Dick’s Sporting Goods (the black shirt is also available in hot pink and purple).

The horse, a play off the controversial hydraulic fracturing method of natural-gas extraction, finished 16th out of 19. Orb and jockey Joel Rosario won the race.

One of the many great ironies of American politics is that liberals claim that conservative men don’t like strong women. Supposedly, we demand that women be seen and not heard while they’re barefoot in the kitchen cooking pot pies and preparing to bring us a beer. Yet, there is a host of fiery, strong, wildly popular women who are beloved by conservative men including, but certainly not limited to Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Laura Ingraham, Nikki Haley, Jan Brewer, Dana Loesch and Condi Rice.
